FROM EXPORT TO KEEPSAKE
In Snapchat’s My Data, choose Export your Memories → Request Only Memories. When it is ready, download and unzip the export; open index.html → Memories to download the actual media. Keep the history file too. Preparation can take days.
We match explicit media identifiers to capture dates. Missing dates, conflicting records, and files we can’t safely change get a clear review label.
JPEG dates and GPS, compatible MP4 dates, and matched JPEG overlays are supported. Every file gets a sidecar and a place in the report.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
No. The tool reads the selected files and makes a new downloadable ZIP. It doesn’t write to the source folder. Keep the original Snapchat export as your backup.
Not necessarily. This beta embeds UTC dates in JPEGs and supported MP4/MOV headers. Other formats retain dates in filenames and JSON sidecars, which some photo apps won’t read. File-system creation times are not changed. Verify a small import in your own photo app.
The current beta is free within the session limits. The proposed paid release is USD 4.99 once, with a 20-file free batch. Checkout stays disabled until merchant verification and launch approval are complete.
No. Download your data through Snapchat first. The tool does not request a Snapchat password, follow private download links, or recover files that are no longer in your export.
The hosting service receives ordinary page requests when you open the site. The organizer has no media-upload endpoint, advertising, analytics, or third-party scripts. Selected media, history records, filenames and GPS remain in this tab. Downloaded reports and sidecars can include private location information; share them carefully. Clear the session or close the tab when finished. Payment features use order records and a browser cookie; see the full privacy policy for details.
No. Memory Harbor is an independent prototype, unaffiliated with Snap Inc. Snapchat is a trademark of its owner. Compatibility has been tested with synthetic fixtures, not a broad set of real account exports.
